v1.6.0
Fantasy Preview & HUD Colors
September 9, 2026
🏆 Fantasy tab (preview)
New RadKings controls now live in their own Fantasy tab instead of buried in Control Room — slate ID, a fantasy score panel teaser, and official live standings. This is a preview: it's real and it fires real overlay cues, but it's not broadcast-ready yet. Don't fire it mid-cast — the tab has its own warning banner so you can't miss it.
🎨 Live HUD accent color
Pick your own accent color for the in-match HUD in Players Remaining → Accent Colour. Title text auto-contrasts against whatever you choose, so it stays readable. The last-player-alive red stays fixed on purpose — that one doesn't follow your color pick, so the critical state is always legible.
⚙️ Server stability
Swapped the dev server running under the hood for a production-grade one. Nothing changes in how you use RadCast — this is a stability improvement, not a new feature.
📋 This build
Install over your existing folder as normal. Config updates itself automatically — nothing to do on your end.

RADKINGS Launch
August 2026
🏆 RADKINGS is live
A full DraftKings-style daily fantasy layer built on top of Clans League — now running real slates with real payouts.
💰 Draft a lineup, hit a cap
Salary-cap drafting against real CL player pricing. Pick a captain for a scoring multiplier. RADS (the in-app currency) covers entry costs — no real money changes hands, but the standings and payouts are real.
⚡ Live scoring, not end-of-round scoring
Your lineup's score updates as matches finish — five times a round, not just once everything's done. You can watch it move mid-cast.
🔒 Picks lock per-lobby, not all at once
If Emerald's lobby starts two hours after Immortal's, Emerald picks aren't locked early just because the slate technically opened. Each lobby locks on its own schedule — same as how DraftKings actually does it.
🔄 Auto-swap for DNPs
If one of your picks doesn't end up playing, you're not stuck eating a zero for the whole slate. The system automatically swaps them out before scoring runs.
📺 Broadcast overlay
Casters can pull live fantasy standings straight into the stream via a dedicated overlay endpoint.
🔗 Where to find it

August Update
August 2026
📍 Kill Maps on session reports
The positional killfeed data that Tuck and ImJoh's work unlocked is now doing something with it — session reports show a full kill map for every match, exactly where every kill happened on the map.
🎴 Clan pages
Every team in Clans League now has a real season page on comp.radstats.gg — season trend chart, full roster with player-level stats, award badges, match log, and rivalry breakdowns. Playoff position is shown for Immortal.
📅 Weekly schedule widget
comp.radstats.gg/cl now shows this week's full lobby schedule at a glance — time, division, teams, and caster, all in one place.
⚡ comp.radstats.gg is a lot faster
Clan pages and the CL landing page load roughly 15x faster than they did a month ago. If it felt sluggish before, it shouldn't anymore.
🎭 CAL Season 4 gets its own Discord card
CAL match results now post with a custom Simpsons-themed card instead of the standard one.
🔫 Data check: is the MK12 still busted?
Ran the real Season 7 numbers on this. MK18 and Tec9 are confirmed genuinely strong — high usage and a real edge for the teams that win with them. The MK12/SPR, despite the community heat it still gets, ranks 18th of 24 weapons in shots fired and actually shows a slightly negative correlation with winning. The nerf did its job.
🐛 Fixes
- An AI-generated season narrative was misreporting a clan's standing — fixed
- A name-matching bug could misattribute kills between two similarly-named players — fixed
- A captain-selection budget bug in RADKINGS drafting — fixed
📋 Coming soon
Player cards — baseball-card style stat and loadout summaries for CL players.
v1.5.7
Sidebar Redesign & Killfeed Data
July 31, 2026
🗂️ New sidebar navigation, and Control Room got safer
Top tabs are gone, replaced by a sidebar: Control Room, Overlay Studio, Post-Match, Scoring, Presets, System Setup. Overlay Studio now groups Alerts, Killfeed, Live HUD, and Player Intro together; Post-Match groups Sequence, Victory, and Scoreboard. Control Room also picked up Reset Session and End Cast, and its test-fire controls now live behind a protected Preflight Tests drawer — manual Victory/Scoreboard broadcast triggers were removed entirely, so there's no accidental way to fire a live match-end from there anymore.
🎨 Customizable heading colors — now with presets and safer picking
System Setup → Appearance lets you set your own Primary and Accent heading colors — pick from 4 ready-made combos (Blue, Orange, Yellow, Green) with one click, or dial in your own via the color picker or by typing a hex code directly. Text automatically switches between light and dark to stay readable no matter how bright or dark a color you pick. Saves automatically, survives updates.
📍 New: killfeed position tracking + sortable kill history — powered by radstats.gg
Two things had to line up to make this possible, and both came from the community. Tuck came up with the idea for a positional kill map — tracking exactly where every kill and knockdown happened on the map, not just who did it. ImJoh made it real by adding that positioning data into CastingMod itself. Big thanks to both.
RadCast now captures full killfeed data for every match — every hit and kill, who did it, what weapon, and where on the map it happened. That data now flows through to radstats.gg. Coming very soon: a sortable kill-history table on your session reports, so you'll be able to see exactly how many times you killed who, and with what.
⚠️ This one actually requires the update. Older RadCast versions don't capture this data at all — if you're not on the latest build, your session reports won't have killfeed or position data to show on radstats.gg once the sortable table goes live. This is the first update where staying current isn't just nice-to-have.
🛡️ Real match data no longer at risk of being overwritten
If your game crashed or restarted mid-session in a specific way, a new session could silently share a folder with the previous one and overwrite its match files on disk. Sessions are now guaranteed their own folder — no more risk of losing a match's data to a naming collision.
🖼️ League intro logo no longer gets stuck
If RadCast didn't recognize the active league, the intro overlay used to either show the wrong league's logo left over from before, or nothing useful. It now falls back to a clean RadCast logo instead.
👥 Team names no longer show blank in unplanned scrims — and Live HUD follows
If you hadn't pre-set team names (pickup games, scrims), the session report and radstats.gg page could show "null" or "Unknown" instead of a usable team name — they now default to "Team 1", "Team 2", etc., matching what's already in the raw match log. The Live HUD picks up the same fix, so you're not stuck watching a blank team label mid-cast either.
✂️ Scoreboard name display bug fixed
A clan-tag cleanup bug could over-strip player names in the AI-generated match commentary. Fixed — and the scoreboard leaderboard/MVP now always show your raw, unedited handle either way.
🔘 Toggle switches look right again
The animated on/off switches had drifted into a squared-off, slightly misaligned shape during the redesign. Back to a proper pill shape, centered correctly.
📋 This build
Install over your existing folder as normal. No config changes needed — the new Appearance tab will seed itself with sensible defaults on first load.
v1.5.5
Ranked Scoring & Stability Fixes
July 2026
🎯 Ranked tie-scoring fixed
If two teams finished with the same kills or damage in a ranked match (Legions, etc.), one could end up with more points than the other for no real reason. Now tied teams get the same points — exactly as the leagues intend.
🔄 Team names no longer get stuck on old/wrong values
If your game crashed or restarted mid-session, RadCast could keep showing stale team names from the new log instead of what you'd actually set. It now stays in sync automatically.
🚫 Broken/void matches no longer get scored
Matches that end in a few seconds with no real winner used to require manually voiding. They're now excluded automatically, so a fluke match can't throw off your session standings.
🔊 Custom sounds no longer get wiped on update
If you'd added your own sound files, updating RadCast could silently delete them and replace them with just the defaults. Your custom sounds now survive updates automatically — no more re-adding them every time. Thanks to SlapDUCK for the catch.
🗑️ Deleted presets now actually stay deleted
Deleting a preset in the companion could silently come back after restarting RadCast — annoying if you were cleaning up old test presets. Deletes now stick for good.
📋 This build
Install over your existing folder as normal. No config changes needed.
v1.5.4
Live Schedules & Stability Catch-Up
July 15, 2026
📅 New: Live league schedules on radstats.gg
Clans League now has a live schedule page: radstats.gg/schedule/cl. This is step one of a bigger push — next up is live registration status and lobby scores, then expanding to more leagues, and eventually full cross-league stat tracking so you can nerd out on your (or anyone's) competitive history to your heart's content.
🛡️ Stability catch-up (from 1.5.3)
A few resilience fixes that landed quietly:
- If the Caster Overlay window ever crashes mid-match, the companion now shows a warning banner instead of leaving you wondering why the overlay went dark
- Upload calls (End Cast / Upload Now) no longer hang indefinitely — they time out cleanly if something's wrong
- Log uploads that fail to send now automatically retry on your next launch instead of silently disappearing
🔧 New in 1.5.4: Refresh Overlays fix
If you had the Caster Overlay window open, clicking "Refresh Overlays" on the Dashboard could get stuck on "Refreshing..." forever. Turned out the Caster Overlay was quietly hogging the connections the rest of the app needed — fixed at the root, and the button now also times out cleanly if anything ever does go wrong instead of hanging silently.
👀 On the horizon
We've got a working prototype of in-app Discord voice channel switching for casters (plus an on-stream indicator showing who's being monitored) — already field-tested on a live cast. Still rough around the edges and not ready for general release, but it's coming. More soon.

v1.5.2
Bug Fixes & Test Tools
July 8, 2026
🔧 Bug fixes
A few things fixed before they bit anyone on a live cast:
- Log uploads to radstats.gg were silently failing after a backend security hardening on our end — fixed, uploads are back to normal
- Final Squads alert was playing the wrong sound (config mixup, not a missing file) — now plays its actual assigned sound
- Five companion buttons (+ New, Rename, Duplicate preset, Add League, Add Variant) were dead in the desktop app — turns out Electron doesn't support browser-style prompts. Replaced with a proper in-app popup, all five working again
🤖 New: Test AI button
Post-Match tab now has a toggle for Live AI Summaries plus a Test AI button that fires a quick request using your saved key — so you can confirm your AI setup actually works before match end, instead of finding out live. If something's wrong, it shows you the real error, not a vague "failed" message.
🎨 New: Test Skins button
Dashboard tab now has a Test Skins button for anyone setting up player skins for the first time. It checks that your skins folder is actually being served correctly and tells you plainly if something's off. If it passes but you still don't see skins in OBS, it'll tell you exactly what to do (usually just a browser source refresh).
📋 This build
Install over your existing folder as normal. No config changes needed — this one's a drop-in update.
v1.5.1
Companion Overhaul
July 2, 2026
🎛️ Three navigation fixes
- The active tab now fills solid cyan — you always know exactly where you are
- Clicking any tab brings you back to the top of it automatically
- Tab bar no longer shifts left when switching to the Killfeed tab
📺 Killfeed tab redesigned
Full restructure into a cleaner two-column layout. Controls are now split into Quick Setup (everything you touch during a cast) and Advanced (collapsible — typography, colors, fine positioning). New Live Feed panel on the right shows your actual killfeed overlay reacting to test events in real time — no OBS required.
🔒 Preset preservation expanded
Settings surviving reinstalls was v1.5. v1.5.1 goes further:
- Your custom presets now survive reinstalls too — positions, colors, typography, all of it
- Fixed a silent bug where the default preset was being reset on every launch even without an update
📋 This build
Install over your existing folder as normal. If you've created custom presets, launch RadCast at least once after creating them before installing any update — that's when the backup runs.
v1.5
First Field Patch
June 26, 2026
🪲 Four live cast bugs fixed
Tuck ran GEN-X Wk 4 on June 22 and caught four issues in the logs. All fixed:
- Zone deaths weren't counting down alive pips on the HUD
- First squad wipe alert queued behind a regular wipe and showed up 76 seconds late
- AI match summary was naming the session points leader as the match winner instead of the actual game winner
- Pip row center-aligned incorrectly when a team started with fewer players
⚙️ Settings now survive reinstalls
Every previous update wiped your config — log directory, OBS password, scoring, alert preferences, preset positions, all of it. That's fixed. RadCast backs your settings up to AppData on close and restores them on launch. Reinstall over your existing folder and everything comes back exactly as you left it.
🎨 Icons
Proper icons across all executables. Broadcast tower on RadCast.exe, the installer, and the server. Green HUD frame on caster_overlay.exe.
📋 This build
Install over your existing folder — your settings are preserved automatically. If you're moving to a new folder, copy your tester.json from the old overlays/ directory to the new one.
Site Update
v2 Redesign
June 26, 2026
🎨 Full v2 redesign
New visual system across all 6 pages — unified color tokens, consistent nav, per-page atmosphere, better card depth on session reports, sticky table headers, Barlow Condensed throughout. Mobile got a significant pass too.
🪲 Bug fixes
- Mobile scrollbar trap gone — the page was locking touch scroll on phones
- MVP flip cards on mobile were bleeding off-screen on open, fixed
- CClass filter button added to the session catalog
- Caster filter added to the catalog — filter by league and caster independently, they stack without resetting each other
v1.49
Launch Build
June 21, 2026
🖥️ RadCast is now a real app
No more Python terminals, no more start_companion.bat. RadCast ships as a signed Windows installer. Double-click RadCast Setup.exe, install, open. The server runs in the background, the companion opens in its own window, and you're casting. That's the whole thing.
🔧 Setup OBS Sources button
The old setup_obs.bat is gone. In the companion → Dashboard → OBS panel, hit Setup OBS Sources. It connects to OBS over WebSocket and creates all 5 browser sources in your active scene automatically. Already have them? It skips them and tells you. First-time setup is now one click.
🎯 Caster overlay now matches your OBS layout exactly
caster_overlay.exe puts all 5 overlays directly over your POP1 game window — killfeed, HUD, scoreboard, victory, players intro, all of it. Previously positions were based on 1920px regardless of your window size. Now the overlay scales correctly to your actual game window so what you see as caster matches what viewers see in OBS, at any resolution.
🌐 Setup guide now in three languages
SETUP.html is available in English, 日本語, and Français. Language selection saves automatically.
🪲 Bug fixes
- Killfeed TEST cards were silently dropped — fixed
- Kill Streak TEST cards were silently dropped — fixed
- TEST ALL OVERLAYS now fires the full sequence correctly
📋 This build
Fresh install: run RadCast Setup.exe and pick a new fresh folder if you are a tester. You will need to copy your tester.json file from your current directory to the new one in the same overlays folder.
